Good point i didn't think about them swelling! Say they did swell could i still fix them?

Thanks I used coopers carb tabs in 500 ml bottles they took 1.5 tabs each so i think I'm good

If its an extract its ok you really don't have to fully boil it its just best to... Jest get it hot enough to dissolve all your sugars.

I'm brewing a lager from an extract can all is going well I bottled a week ago and I'm wondering if I need to pasteurize the plastic bottles so they don't explode or will they be ok left alone?

I don't have a way to check my temps yet other then the thermostat which say my house is around 70c but I felt the sides of my fermentor am its a little cool to the touch do you thinks its ok? O yes I forgot I'm just brewing coopers lager extract with a ale yeast.

I have 500 ml bottles the pack says use 2 tabs for 750 ml and one tab for 340 ml what should I do?
