So here's my issue. I bought the Northern Brewer White House Honey Ale and I followed all the directions except I added the honey at 60 min instead of the last 5 minutes. So I'm assuming this will pretty much negate the honey flavor. So the recipe leaves a half once of both East Kent Goldings...

This kit from NB is quite good. Very smooth for a high gravity beer, lives up to the velvet name. Velvet Rooster

I've always used a 7.9 gallon fermenter and never had problem with wild fermentations. Not sure if that's why or if I've just been lucky.

What size of buckets do you use?

What does everyone do to manage picnic taps in your keezers? I'm finding them somewhat messy to just lap them over the kegs. I'm thinking of rigging up some sort of bucket/container with slits cut in it for the party taps, at least then I could clean the bucket every now and again.. Of...

I just kegged this Friday and am anxious to tap into it this afternoon. I followed the directions with wyeast. 1 week in the primary and one week in the secondary dry hopping. SG 10.72 FG 10.16. Smelled amazing...

Well, this kit uses 3 oz. of Saaz hops, 2 oz at 60 min and 1 at 5 min.. So adding more quantity at those times would seem logical to me.
