Me too!! I'm just doing extract at the moment to get comfortable with the process. Looking at all grain summertime. I love cooking... Taking a hamburger helper adding some cheese, salsa and so on and the kids get upset when there's no more. But this is better ;) I can take a beer I like, play...
According to Wikipedia the wort is made in Ireland and shipped to the US and finished with local ingredients. Not saying Wikipedia is always right, just saying :)
I've only just finished my first batch and have shared some with co- workers and such. If I was hosting a party it would kind of depend on who was invited, a few (2-4) friends, or like a invite work, friends, friends of friends kind of thing. A few friends, I'm thinking at least pop top...
My first batch (enjoying it too) was an americian wheat ale from NB. Great starter, easy, and tastes about like a Sam Adams Boston lager. I've given quite a few away for feedback and after enjoying a few have realized a few things
