    blood orange hefeweizen help.

    Adding dry hops. Carbd.

    Beer is in the keg inside keezer and has been on gas for 2 weeks. I just found some cascade in the refrigerator that I forgot to add for dry hopping this recipe. Is it too late for the full flavor of the hops to come out due to the low temp, or the beer being carbonated?

    Does this mean wine conditioner or lactose is added into the keg? At kegging time after fermentation?

    The Oxynater

    I used the oxynater for the first time today. I hooked it up to a small disposable oxygen tank. The instructions say, boil stone for 20 min before & after using, place in wort for 15 seconds then let the foam settle and repeat. Well aside from oxygen coming out of the stone there was no foaming...

    beer snacks

    Wasabi peas & stout. The slight heat from the wasabi goes so well with stout. Preferably victory storm king.

    Am I using a Therminator wrong?

    This is how I have been using my plate chiller. I pump the wort through the chiller for last 10 min of the boil to sanitize. At flameout I turn ON the water and recirculate into keggle until I reach 75* then I pump wort into the fermenters. A can have a 10 gallon batch cooled in about 12 min.

    Wait it out, you should be fine. See what others say about repitching. You cant judge it by airlock activity.

    I just picked up a six pack of founders porter & it is very tasty. The breakfast stout is also real good.

    Even if you are only brewing a couple of times a year I think kegging is the way to go. One 5 gallon vessel VS.... 53 - 26
