    Not the same results, but still good. Someone used Lalvin K1-V1116 with good results https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f32/edworts-apfelwein-question-82322/#post873572 I was able to find it in a local store. Others have used EC-1118, Red Star Cote Des Blancs, Premier Cuvee, and many other wine yeasts.

    You can use fresh pressed cider. Some orchards still put preservatives in it so be careful. Use Campden so the Montrachet doesn't have to compete with wild yeasts. Based on the experiences in this thread, it will never clear up.
