Thanks for your reply Vale, I did pressurise the line to the ball-lock valve then turn the regulator down and pressure seemed to stay high. Is there a name or term for a diaphragm regulator that will do what I want? I'd rather fork out on a proper / different brass Co2 regulator than a plastic...
