Stone 15th Anniversary Escondidian Imperial Black IPA clone

Just bottled this afternoon. FG came down to 1.017 so I am pretty happy with that. Sample was awesome. Of my 3 brews this is the first one I though tasted good at bottling. Only complaint was that I expected slightly more hop aroma. I will report back in a few weeks. @sivdrinks: Sorry for the...

3 weeks - high FG, sweet porter

No I suppose that title was a little misleading, I was only referring to the taste of the sample - I think EdWort calls it a Robust Porter.

3 weeks - high FG, sweet porter

Brewed my 1st BIAB AG batch (2nd batch ever) EdWort's Bee Cave Porter 3 weeks ago today. Was planning on bottling tomorrow so I checked the FG. Turns out it was about 7 points too high and the sample was very sweet. Here are my notes: Batch Size 2.75 Expected OG - 1.061 Expected FG - 1.015...

Stone 15th Anniversary Escondidian Imperial Black IPA clone

Does anybody have any recommendations for replacing the Nelson Sauvin (no luck tracking it down)? I have read that there are not really any substitutes, but maybe something else that would pair well the rest of the hop schedule?
