The bier stein is awsome. Was out in Eugene last summer, and could believe that place. So much beer, now if only I could open a place like that in Montana.....
So I went out today to check on my hops, and there was ants crawling around in the soil. They were not on the hops, from what I could tell. Anybody had problems with this in the past?
In the same boat as most everyone else. I'm from Montana and it just won't stop. Supposed to get another 2-4 inches of rain over the weekend. Only had a few days break 70 degrees. Not to mention we haven't seen much sun. I hop the little gals do ok.
Just moved my 2 centennial and 2 cascade hops into the ground. Had them in the pots for about a month now. Hope that they do alright as it has been raining for what seems like forever. Post some pics when I get a chance.

As my centennial and cascade plants are in the backyard, it is very hard not to go and check up on the "babies". Love to go out and see the new progress.
I have 2 cascade and 2 centennial starting to shoot up quite quickly, and they are in pots. What is the best way to move them into the ground without harming
I have 2 centennial and 2 cascades. I started them about 2 weeks ago, and all 4 have broken the surface. Just wondering about fertilizer, when and if even needed, and what kind to use.
