    Stir the mash while recuirculating a few times then let it settle out for the last ten minutes. That helped me.

    Yes let them age until black. If they dry no worries. Soak them in water for a couple days then blast them off with a hose. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    I pick them from my tree. Crack them in a vice. Time consuming but worth it. Let them dry out then hose off the shell after soaking in water. Wear rubber gloves or u will have black fingers for a week. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew
