    what are you running glycol too as your fermenters dont look to have jackets? Are you happy with the finish inside the fermenters and brights?

    sounds like you may have pulled a hole straight through the yeast cake and the bulk of the yeast could be still sitting on the sides of the cone. Did you open the tap slowly or fast. You could give the side of the cone a tap with something like a rubber mallet and see if you get any more...

    Auber ssr problem

    I had one of these auber ssr melt on one of the contacts recently as well. I dont think the are the best quality of ssr around. The replacement which was three times the price looks to be better designed. I have had no trouble with their pids though.
