    Stockspeed3 that looks very nice! and clear! mine is quite cloudy thats after 9 months! I've just kegged mine up, and waiting for the 2 weeks before drinking. Or is it ok, to just drink now? you can tell im itching to have a few ;0)

    if it doesn't rain it pours for me! Have bought a 5 gallon pressure barrel to store my cider, cleaned and sterilised it. When I tipped it up side down some water is leaking from the cap!! Do you think this could just be the O ring? As I'm taking this shouldn't happen with a pressure barrel...

    Is it possible get an accurate alcohol reading from the hydrometer without taking an original reading? Or do I need a before and after reading to get this?

    Im going to purchase an auto syphon, thanks brew runner as I didn't know that. . Rob - are you saying it's not a good idea to use a pressure barrel to store my cider when its ready to drink?

    Wow I've not been on for a few months! I started my homemade Apelwein on 26th November 2010, and it's still sat in my understairs cupboard. I forgot all about it, and now not sure what to do with it? will it still be ok?
