AHS Anniversary Wit - with Strawberries? Long Primary...

Hi there, So, I brewed up the AHS Anniversary Wit 10 days ago, and it has been sitting in my big Ale bucket. I haven't done a FG reading yet (it was at 1.020 on Saturday), and was hoping to turn it into a strawberry wit. I have 5 pounds of frozen strawberries in my freezer, but forgot...

    Woman Brewmaster

I'm a lady and just got started! The first brew day I had my boyfriend, my (male) roommate, and another (male) friend over. They all just watched and drank while I did all the brewing... They helped with the clean up though! And my bf was washing bottles the other day...

Well, I left the tube it, got it in my basement, and it is happily bubbling away right now! I'll update to let you know how it turns out.

Urgent, help! I dropped the WHOLE TUBE of my yeast into a better bottle!!

Yeah, I had the whole tube in my bucket-o-sanitizer during the boil, and let it air dry while I cooled the wort. I searched my whole kitchen and have nothing that would fit inside the better bottle to help fish it out. Okay, I will let it be and eat some dinner and have a homebrew. Thanks!

Urgent, help! I dropped the WHOLE TUBE of my yeast into a better bottle!!

So, I was pitching my yeast into AHS's anniversary APA just now and my hands were wet and the whole tube of yeast fell into the fermenter! I did sanitize the whole tube, but I'm not sure how to get it back out! And since I already pitched the yeast, I wasn't sure if I could pour it back into...

6 gal Better Bottle as Primary for AHS Anniversary kit?

Extract, I have the water heating up to steep the grains as we speak, and I did the extract blonde ale last night and it is bubbling nicely. This afternoon I made cookies with that left over grain with some flour and peanut butter for my dog, but I think I like them better than he does! So I...

6 gal Better Bottle as Primary for AHS Anniversary kit?

It's a five gallon batch, so I honk I shouldn't need the blow off tube?

6 gal Better Bottle as Primary for AHS Anniversary kit?

Hi there! So, I was planning on brewing up the American Pale Ale from ASH's anniversary sale today. I have my white labs california ale yeast coming to room temp, and I have a stopper and 3 piece airlock. Then, I realized I wasn't sure how to transfer the wort from the pot *into* the...

    First Beer!

Thanks! I can't wait, I put a four pack in the way back part of my cabinet to try at 3/6/9 months out, too.

    First Beer!

It's a Brewer's Best Weizenbier kit, I brewed it on 3/5, bottled it on 3/16, put a bottle in the fridge Friday afternoon and cracked it open tonight. It's GOOD! It is still a bit on the flat side, but not bad at all! Definitely drinkable. I'm also still sort of amazed and proud of the fact...

    Pomegranate Wheat

ooh! I have one of the Austin Homebrew $20 Wit kits on its way to my house, I think I might use this idea when I brew it! Would there be any benefit to racking it to secondary and adding the Pom juice then, as opposed to just dumping it in the primary?

    Brewer's Best Weizenbier

This was my first kit! I brewed it on 3/5, bottles on 3/16, and tasted it today. My OG was 1.048, FG 1.011. I put it in the fridge yesterday, and cracked it open about an hour ago. It was a little bitter and under carbed, but not bad! I think in another week or two it should be tasty. I...
