in the early 90's i wanted to try to make my own beer, got a Mr Beer kit and tried two of the beer tins that came with it. wasnt impressed with it and chucked it in the closet. around 2013 was cleaning out the closet and found the old kit, figured i would try it out again. ordered a kit and same results, but this time i looked on youtube and found CraigTube and a few other youtubers. tried again and got a much better beer. Then i stepped up and ordered a Homebrew kit from Northern Brewer with a Irish red extract, which turned out great. then i wanted to go All Grain and made a mashtun out of a cooler and bought a 8 gallon pot. brewed with that for 2 years then bought a GrainFather. every year I try to improve something on my brewing process, 2021 will be water. I have brewed a lot of different recipes. my Favorites are IPA's, Pale ales, Hefeweizens, really any style. last couple of years been brewing Lagers since my new fermentation chamber can get down to 32F.
