it is not self priming. one difference is that the little giant is rated for (i believe) 9 minutes of dry running before damage is done. a march pump would croak far sooner.

It pains me in a deep way to do this but I'm going to be selling all of my homebrewing gear... Everything you'll need to move up from extract brewing to all grain. I'm not trying to make a huge amount of coin on this - I'd rather see a new brewer take the hobby to the next level and enjoy it...
