    Cream Ale Fermentation question

    hey all, brewing my first cream ale that requires lagering. Directions are vague- "when krausen drops crash to 40 for twenty four hours then two weeks at 33." What does "when Krausen drops mean? After initial fermentation? Its been fermenting now for three days at 68 and SG still dropping...

    Very True.. I recently came across an old atari joystick.. That might be pretty cool as a tap handle.... :mug:

    Brewing this now! I am sure it will be great.. Brewing five gallon only batch- No 7C falconers flight though.. I will replace that with Amarillo.. I missed the mash temp by two degrees (150), but don't think it should make a huge deal.. Wish me luck! Thanks for the recipe Yooper

    something like a bazooka screen? I thought about that but figured it would get clogged too.. My current brew pot doesn't have a spigot, but I I can probably add a weldless ball valve to it.. hmmm.... got me thinking.......

    I think a horse shoe would make a good tap handle, with some modifications of course.. The weight would be an issue, but it could be done... anyone ever used a golf ball for a tap handle?
