    What would you recommend then sire? I'm tempted to stick with Lactic on any darker styles like porters or dark german beers and move to phosphoric in anything lighter like ales and largers. I do tend to drink and brew a considerable amount more pale ales & lager/pilsners then any other style so...

    I dont think so no, my water report states Alkalinity (as CaCO3) 235.00
