    Beer In A Can

I'm supprised you've never seen it. I usually use malt extract with fantastic results. But in my LHBS these cans are everywhere so I tried a couple to see what I was missing. It says right on them, "All you add is sugar." So i did, following the instructions to a T, only to get nasty bitter...

    beer nightmare....

Dreaming is the unconscious problem-solving of dilemas that we have in our conscious lives that we are, A: not admitting to ourselves to be a problem, or B: not even knowing, on a conscious level, that it (the promblem) exsists. However the "dream" phenomenon can only preceed the following...

    Beer In A Can

So I have made 2 different brews from a can. (the ones that all you have to do is add sugar.) Both have turned out extremely bitter. Is this a product of under aging? It's only aged for about one week. Will this get better in time? And finally, did I do something wrong?

How do you increase alchohol content?

I've never heard of "gimp" so I went to the link and could figure out how to even download it. It gave me the all this garbage to download, but it all said, "Oh, oh no, you must have version 2.0 to download that." But never told me where 2.0 was in the first place!!! Can someone guild me on this?

    Fruit Beer

I too have made a batch of wine coolers for my girlfriend, and they turned out pretty well. I boiled my malt and everything as normal, but didn't add any hops. Then added the fruit to the primary, after I added the hot brew and about 1 gallon of water.(Just to let it cool a little) then added...

    Screw top bottles

I'm not sure where I read it, but I thought the screw off bottles were more of a problem because the glass is typically thinner, and glass shrapnel bombs are more frequent. Like i said, don't know where I read it, and it might just have been my imagination.

    Corona Anyone?

I would love to see your recipe for Dos Equis. I'm the kind a home brewer that likes to try lots of different things. Lots of experiments, but little science. I have searched for it, but haven't come up with an accual recipe. Just sites trying to sell me stuff. If anyone has a site drop...

    Corona Anyone?

My live in girlfriend loves Carona, but the "Mexican Beer" out of the can, though it was good, did not quite stand up to Corona, Any successful Corona recipes? Also if you had any clever names for me that would be good. Like "Get'n Lucky Ale" something like that

How old were you when you started?

First home brew about a month ago, age 19, but I do not give it away, I drink every bit of it. I am somewhat of college "partier" but brewing my own beer has given me a new found appreciation for good beer.

What's the hardest part of homebrewing?

I completely agree with ScottT, Whenever I have a new brew boiling, or get to siphon, bottle, or even clean, It's like Christmas and the Randall residence.

    white foam on the top

If it is tiny bubbles(which is most likely) they will probably get larger in the next couple day and will be more noticably as bubbles. If mold, and I sure someone will correct if I'm wrong, it shouldn't effect the taste and is still ok to drink. I read this in a book, and I'm accually curious...
