Hey everybody,
I am late to this thread, but I've got a couple of Golden Gate kegs, and can't seem to figure out how to get the valves out. I'd like to try to cask condition some beer in them.
Anyone know how to get the valves out?
Much thanks!

I had one of two kegs go south, so what I did was simply store and use it for marinade for chicken, beef, etc. I also made (and am currently making!) beer battered onion rings, and beer-battered everything so as not waste it.
Don't dump it, my friend. It can also be recycled some way.
Are U.S. Golding hops much different than East Kent Golding hops? Please let me know if anyone has experience with the differences in them.
This is a great hop! (EKG), but pricey. I have found the U.S. to be much cheaper than its UK cousin. Perhaps import $$?:ban:
How much does carbonation change the flavor of the beer? Will it bring out the malt?
I just did a gravity reading and tasted it. I can taste hops, but not much malt or body. And yes, I am new.
Help!
I sorta fear bottling this early (on day 9)

I have a batch 8 days into healthy fermentation. However, my first gravity sample looks odd. It shows a 1.010. This is a fairly big beer. I can post the recipe if that would help.
I did have a blow out on day 3 however, it blew the air lock and stopper off and was open for a couple of hours (I...
I have a couple of questions:
1) Do you always need to use sanitized solution in the water where the blow tube blows into?
2) I just had an airlock disaster overnight. It blew off and sprayed yeast vomit everywhere. This beer has a 1.074 OG. Should I have used a blow off tube from the start?
