    Too much hop gunk got into fermenter... dump?

    Hi, I made a Pliny the Elder clone few days ago and while transferring, I got about an inch of hop gunk into a carboy. Should I dump it? Never had this happening before.. I actually put hops in muslin bags. Thanks in advance

    Does humidity matter for waxed cheese?

    Mac & Jack's brewery here at Redmond uses hop pellets packed inside a VERY FINE mesh bag in a keg.

    Fruit Flys AND larva in primary

    I haven't had maggots INSIDE a primary, but had one around the t-shirt that covered the carboy. (I used swamp cooler). Needless to say I started putting Bleach into the water after that.
