Will be planting a few varieties of hops in large containers soon as I can get my hands on the hops. I like to grow plants, and hops are very satisfying as they reward you with rapid growth; and some little gems, if you treat them right.
I am responsible for a little pastime while enjoying a good brew- I call it "Underlining". It take a little bit of skill to do the underlining and read it.
You take a free paperback book, preferably an action-type book.
Go through the text and underline words to make new sentences, without adding new words. At the end of a new "sentence", just indicate with a vertical line. At best, the new sentences should be rather absurd, but readable out loud, even after a few brews. I shall cite an example from my first effort in 1982:
" Splinters of panic-stricken mud fought to get the cage out of the trees"
