It could be better then fine, it could be great! I would recommend adding some Safale-33 prior to bottling though, just to make sure there are some active yeast in the beer. Also, English breweries use to keep bitters and ESB for a year so they would have some old stock or stale beer to blend...
I brewed an old stock ale I was planning to use to start a solera today. Since a solera requires a lot of aging, I upped the hops so the beer would have a longer life. Best of luck to all, this is my first time trying a solera!
My experience with the beer is that there is a lot a variation. The first 6-pack I purchased was great. The second 6-pack was lousy and I was very disappointed. I don't know how you could clone the beer when there is so much variation. frankly, I think Bridgeport has sunk a lot of money into...
