It looks like mostly Pilsner malt, boiled for 60 or more minutes, is how this beer is brewed. I don't see why the presense of dms should seem so shocking. And thanks for the recipe. I like a nice beer-hall brew. [edit] Oh, I get it, ONLY 60 mins it's what's less than usual.

For 5 gallon batches, 20 feet will be just fine, use the money you're not spending on the extra 20 feet to buy elbows & short, straight pieces to fit it to your boil kettle.

I have a jockey box with a plate chiller & like it a lot. During the summer, we have the ball team over after games, and it cools a 5 gallon keg completely, even having a fair bit of left the next day.
