nope...I'd rather not open the box. Someone far more competent than me did all the electrical work. I just worked on the plumbing. This thing works great and never gave me one problem. Easy to use. I just prefer a simpler brewing process (I live in a small place and I wash, clean, pack, store...
nope... that works.
The element(s) (I have a backup that I will include as part of the purchase) is the Ultra low density type so as to prevent any scorching. I plug it into a GFI outlet and I have a grounding wire on the system because...well...better safe than sorry.

Thanks! I'm excited for this beer, well...if I ever get to making that starter. I juuuuust finished throwing away my 2L erlenmeyer flask. Had a quick boil over and *crack*! I've had that thing for over 6 years with no problems. I thought they were crack resistant! Gotta visit the LHBS and get...
I've purchased the 3522 and I am making a starter tonight for a Sunday brewday. I'd love to hear what brewers out there like for grain bill and hopping. I'm working backwards on this one...thinking I may use some Amarillo and Cascade for dryhopping to get that tropical mango/citrus thing going...

I'd like to hear about your own fermentation/conditioning process concerning Belgian IPAs (a 'style' I've never brewed). I was considering brewing one for Thanksgiving. That gives me a...
Here are some pics of the RIMS tube and controller. I'll include the stand if you want it (the copper wire around the tube is a grounding wire FYI), although its heavy and will probably have an effect on the shipping cost.
I have a RIMS tube with control box I'd like to get $220 for. Price of shipping included. I'll even throw in my extra heating element (both are super low density elements).
Works fine...I just want to simplify my system.
Message me if you need pics or more info.
