    Thanks for all of the help, guys. I have taken a plan of action and hopefully it will allow them to bounce back. All things considered, they will bounce back, right? I figure with an ivy, as long as you don't pull out the root they will keep coming back. They look pretty pathetic at the moment...

    Deer might make sense, but there aren't many of them in the city that can jump a 6ft fence. Hmm... It is weird that I can't seem to find much on the web about this with hop plants.
