Thanks for the info. Great insight on the Avinatore. I feel like this is the source of my problems . . .

Excellent. Thanks so much. I really like the convenience of the bottle rinser, so I might check with my local supplier and see if he provide me with some better sanitizer. Do you recommend Lodophor?

My last two batches (Cowgirl Honey Light and Bohemian Bronze) have both had a sour, citrusy taste on the finish that made it difficult to enjoy. New to this forum - love it! Just bottled my third Mr. Beer batch - Patriot Lager. First time using 12 oz bottles (repurposed Sam Adams bottles), capper, and bottling wand. Feeling more confident with every batch and I plan on graduating to carboys, air locks and 5 gallon brewing soon.

I have plenty of measuring spoons. I don't like the double-sized measurer with the slots I ordered from Mr. Beer, but I do like the one with the adjustable slider.

I'm getting ready to bottle my Patriot Lager today - using 12 oz bottles and a capper for the first time. Trying to figure out how much priming sugar to add to the bottles . . .
