Just brewed a Belgian Wit myself...it's in the secondary looking delicious!
3/4# crushed Grain...steep @ 150 (30min)
Add LME (3.3# Golden Light & 3.3# Bavarian Wheat)...top off to 2.5 gal
Add .75 oz bittering hops...boil 45min
Add finishing hops, .5 oz corriander (cracked), .5 oz Sweet...
Appreciate the feedback! I will wait, but still sample one bottle each Monday up until the 4 week mark.
Currently have 5g of EdWort's Apfelwein bubbling away...will start my second batch of beer this weekend. Any good recipes/advice for a Raspberry Wheat?
Grazie.
This may be a stupid question...could you bottle it without adding the corn sugar? I'm guessing that you just wouldn't get a carbonated bottle of cider???
New brewer here.
I have a couple of questions about bottling EdWort's Apfelwein...
What is the best method (ingredient breakdown, boiling, etc.)
How long after you bottle it should you wait to consume?
Appreciate the feedback.
Brewed my first batch of Brown Ale. Everything turned out perfect, waited one week after bottling and put one in the fridge for sampling.
Tasted killer!!! Problem? I can't stop 'sampling'....I'm on a rate of one per night. How long should I errr...restrain from consuming my brew...
