I'm making Blackberry wine following VH 3 gallon recipe on label of can. I racked it into the secondary last night. The next step says to rack again in 3-4 weeks when SG is 1.010-1.000. Well, my SG is already at 1.000. I meant to move it to secondary 3 days ago when it was 1.040 as instructions...
I started my first wine kit, Island Mist Exotic Fruits Zinfandel. I sprinkled yeast over the must last night, covered it and inserted airlock. Do I stir the top half daily? The instructions do not mention stirring at all.

Thanks for the info. They still have the airlocks on them. They are clear and red. Smell like grapes. I'll check SG tomorrow.
How do I check acidity? What is MLF? Don't forget, I'm a newbie to this.
