    Sour beer :(

I'm a newbie at this myself, but one of the many things I learned in my handful of batches to date is exactly what COLObrewer said. The way it tastes after a week in the bottle is not always a good indicator as to how it will taste after a few more weeks in the bottle. I suggest you start...

    Hello from Seattle

Thanks. We've spent many an hour at the pub coming up with names. "Welcome to the Jungale" is my favorite so far. Anyone know of a beer that takes 15+ years to brew? We'll start on it now and call it Chinese Democracy.

    5 Gallon main fermenter?

This is all great information. My last batch had some iffy carbonation. Now I've got some tricks for future batches.

    How did you find us?

My buddy and i were brewing our first batch a few months ago and it took a bit longer for vigorous fermentation to start than we thought it should. We didn't know what to do or if we would abandon our batch. My gf suggested I look for some online forums. I googled "home brew forum" and this site...

    Hello from Seattle

Hi Everyone, My name is Grant and my buddy Richey and I are long time beer drinkers and after years of talking about it have finally recently started home brewing. We took our first initials and call ourselves G&R Brewing for fun. All of our beers are going to have names based on Guns and Roses...
