This isn't the first time 'beer' has been made with yeast from somebody's hoo-ha. I recall seeing something similar probably five or six years ago. The problem with this is that 'human yeast' is any of a number of Candida strains, whereas 'beer yeast is (usually) one of the 'Saccharomyces'...

I don't think anybody calls Buffalo 'Downstate'. "Western New York" is the accepted and preferred term. It's about as far as one can get from "Downstate" and still be within New York's borders.
