There is no difference in the scoby, but the little animals run around the cage and stir things up quite a bit. The ferments are rather far along and acidic, should I just keep it going and keep an eye out for off flavors or scoby changes? The cage was next to my jars for 6 days.

I left town for a few days and my daughter put her Guinea pig cage on the counter next to my 3 gallons of kombucha. The jars had cloth over the tops of them and the cage was right next to them. :confused: Are they contaminated with rodent bacteria? Should I throw them out? I am absolutely...
