    Son of a... I was looking at the other side. It is indeed BRIX/PLATO on that side of the hydrometer. Looks like it was at 1.2. Facepalm! Sorry to waste your time on that guys.

    First time poster. I've had several successful batches so far and with summer coming thought I would brew up a Mexican Cerveza style. 1 day after pitching, I got fairly active airlock activity, then after 1.5 days... nothing. Knowing this didn't necessarily mean that fermentation had stopped...
