    Oregon Red Raspberry Puree?

Why re-invent the wheel? There are a number of recipes here that should give you the info you need. Below is one that I use. Put the fruit in your secondary. Make your own funnel by cutting off the top of a 2 liter soda bottle. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f75/raspberry-ale-55316/

    Wyeast 1084

For a primary fermenter, I use a plastic pale. One time when my air lock wasn't bubbling, I found that air was escaping from around the gasket in the grommet hole in the lid, rather than going through the air lock. I jammed the air lock in further and the beer turned out fine. Then I replaced...

    Lemon... Lots of Lemon!!

I have used too much lime zest in a beer and it took about 3 months in the bottle for it to settle down.

    Honey Wheat Brew

Please let us know how that works out, if you really get some honey flavor using that method. I have never been able to do so but I haven't used your technique.

    First Non-Kit Batch

It wouldn't hurt to wait another week before bottling, but check your hydro readings. I am usually about 2 weeks primary, 1 week secondary before bottling. Its a great jump to stop buying kits and start buying raw ingredients to make your own recipes. There are good kits, it just adds a...

What do you do with your used grains?

You pull the grains out before adding hops. Don't let the dog get hops, its poisonous to them. I have now baked several batches of the dog biscuits and every dog goes crazy for them. Mine perks up as soon as I start mixing them up because she knows whats coming.

    Impoverished Belgian White

I wouldn't boil the honey. Search this site for 'honey' and you will find lots of discussion on it.

    Porter recipe

Check some of the recipes on this site for comparison. Not sure I have seen Munich or Biscuit used in a porter, not to say that you couldn't. I usually have some black patent malt in mine as well. I not on metric so I can't comment on the amounts without doing all the conversions. Anyway...

    Spiced IPA ????????

I don't see why you couldn't do something like that. My xmas ale this year had too much hops (did I just say that?) so its more like an IPA than what I wanted which is more of a winter warmer. Back to the drawing board for next year.

    Beer Problem...

Dude, its totally ruined. Save yourself and just send the whole batch to me. I'll dispose of it properly.

    Blending Hop Characteristics

I meant to say before, the original question is a very good one. Some say they brew one time and know they will eventually switch to all grain. IMO, a big breakthrough is when you stop buying kits and make your own recipes (or copy ones from here) and buy raw ingredients. I did extract...

    steeping grains

If you are buying extract kits, the grains that come with the kit will all be ones that are steeped. Grains that have to be mashed will be Base Grains or Base Malts. If you look at some raw materials on websites, you should see grains separated into these categories. It has to do with...

    Blending Hop Characteristics

When people ask me what homebrewing is like, I tell them its like cooking a meal but you can't taste it for 6 weeks. Then tweek your recipe and start over.

    Mini Mash

I think it goes more like '2 turntables and a microphone'. To answer your question, yes you can do a partial mash without a mash tun. My second pot is actually a turkey fryer. It came with a large strainer that hangs on the side (maybe most of those turkey fryer kits are like that) so I...
