If I pitch the yeast saturday afternoon I'm no leaving till Sunday morning wouldn't fermentation started already and should let it start or should I pitch before I leave Sunday
Idk know really about the brown sugar thought it would give it a little color and more abv
What would u use instead of crystal to keep the color and abv
Also I'm shooting for a little chocolate ipa

Winter is only a couple months away this is my first winter brewing I was just wondering what other do with the yeast cake in the Carboy usually I just clean it out side In the rocks but with snow going to be on the ground not really up or that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
My uncle gave me a starter kit and some beers his friend made they have been sitting for at least 8 months he said.... As soon as I opened the top they foamed as shown in the picture... Anybody know what could be the cause?
