Can you take bottles out of the fridge (they have been in less than 24 hours) to get the yeast active again???
New at this and I think I got a little anxious!
New brewer here. Probably a lot of threads on this that I couldn't find - but - if you were to build a chiller, what makes most sense - immersion or counter flow?
you're right!! Didn't think I'd be brewing so soon after the American Lager! But I saw a thread on homebrewtalk about the SN Torpedo clone that I had to try!
Not the best Boy Scout - have an American Lager in secondary fermenter. Brewing SN Torpedo clone now.
Problem is only have one air lock. Is it ok to put an sandwich plastic baggie over the neck of the glass carboy secondary fermenter?
Going to be doing a complete laundry room makeover. Wife said to incorporate brewing into plan (man I love her!). Any ideas/pictures to share on best way to utilize space?
3 compartment sink? Varying level shelving units?
New to brewing - and have no ideas.
Thanks
Just to make sure I understand process. Clean bottles (regardless if they've been used before or not) using bottle brush.
Rinse.
Use no-rinse sani solution.
Good to bottle.
About right?
Hello all
New member and brewer from Harrisburg, PA. Trying to figure out what I am doing - how to brew good beer consistently and maybe upgrade to a nanobrew status!
