    oxidation problems when dry hopping

Why not brew your IPA as normal and skip dry hopping all together. If your beer ends up oxygenated then the problem may not be in your dry hopping process. Or brew a beer you normally do not dry hop & add a dry hop step. Just a couple troubleshooting steps to consider.....

Safale 05 and 04 fermentation range is (53.6-77°F) so you are well in there for those strains.. May take longer at lower temps but you should be good. I would not go up to 70 as flavor profile may change at upper end.....

    Failureat CO2 transferring.

So many variables.. My guess as to why it did not blow immediately... As the gas was entering the carboy the pressure in carboy was low, over time pushing beer into the keg the pressure (granted though small) was building, and gas, like electricity & water look for the path of least...

    Failureat CO2 transferring.

Could have been couple factors, some ideas to look at... Was the Keg and carboy on same level? (keg higher = back pressure. Does the pressure relief valve allow the flow of escaping gas = the supply? (could create back pressure). Suggest running a couple trial runs using water. Transferring...
