Just got my 2 glasses in the mail today. I sent away the virtual caps one with my name and one with the wifes name and they sent both glasses to the same address. They have etched stars at the bottom of the glass to release the CO2. Not bad for free.
There are a lot of hop varieties I can't find in whole hop form. At my LHBS they only carry both whole and pellet hops in the most common varieties (ie cascade). Even shopping online your choices are limited if you will only use whole hops.
Fact: Heaven is a perfect place God has prepared for those who believe in Him.
Question: Would any place be perfect without beer?
Conclusion: Heaven must have beer!
Anyone who offered the "cut out beer" option should have their forum membership revoked! This is a home brew forum people, lets keep it realistic!
Joining the "Hezbollah like" ranks of the vegans is almost as bad as cutting out beer but I will let it slide this time.

I had to put off pitching yeast untill the following morning on the last beer I made... it turned out fine (after a 12 hour wait). Seal it up in something clean and wait to get the correct yeast.
There was a little foam at the top of the collection tube so i just left the hydrometer in untill the foam went away. I just rechecked it (same sample) and it was below 1.000 in the .994 range. So I pulled the hydromter out and it had about 1 cm of beer inside of it. There was a small crack in...

I scrubbed off the labels on a great lakes six pack a few months ago. It was a lot of work. I got a 12 pack of the same stuff and even after soaking for 3 days those labels wouldn't budge. Those bottles went into the trash. No bottle is worth that amount of time. Red stripe are the only other...
Drink it of course, but honestly how much can one person drink? I know that many of you are brewing almost every weekend. What do you do with your beer? I've made only a few batches and have an unholy supply at this point. I would say I have close to 150 bottles and another 8 gallons ready to...

I brew in my kitchen and ferment in the basement...
