I do Kombucha and get the temperature up to 220° to get all the nutrients out of black tea in an 8 gallon kettle and I am pretty sure that is what cracked our glass cooktop.

How do I safely remove these hinges? I am guessing I cannot just saw the hinge. Do I need to take the lid apart? Thank you, Darryl

I know this is an old thread, but can someone tell me how to get the lid off the freezer? Do I need to take the "plate ?" covering the lid off? Thanks in advance!
