I drank beer...and bottled 5 gallons of my Gizzy Face APA.

52 years old. I usually have 1 beer a night when I get home from work after my normal 12-13 hours. On the 1 day off I get, I may have 2 or 3 beers. I rarely drink anything other than beer.

Mashed in about 30min ago on a batch of my Award Winning Gizzy Face APA. I haven't brewed since August, and it feels good to be back in it.

I entered two beers in my first competition, the Carolina Quarterly Brew off. My Czech pale lager did not place, but my " Gizzy Face" APA took first place for Pale Ales. I am stoked

I carbed my last Hefeweizen to 3.5 vols and have had no problem with the bottles (no bombs).

My best and greatest beer to date was my "Lap Dog" Czech Pale Lager. This was my first Lager, and has caused me to veer away from drinking and brewing primarily IPA, and APA. It is entered in a competition and I should find out how it did this weekend.

I recently did a Hefe with 3# of Blood Orange Puree, using WLP300. I had no blowoff during primary, but after racking to secondary with the puree, I had blowoff and had to replace the airlock with a blowoff tube. Better safe than sorry.

Homebrew Marzen

I always bottle 24 hours after adding gelatin. I usually add it on Saturday morning before going to work, and if I am brewing, I bottle during the boil on Sunday morning. I have never gone longer that 24 hours, and the beers are always clear.
