Currently brewing a stout..my fourth batch....steeping temp got to 180 (rookie move, I'm blaming the dog!) But I removed the steep bag and took the kettle off the burner so hopefully no ill results....I even reduced steeping time to account. Hopefully that will avoid some possible tannins......

Second this.... Too much sugar where the yeast can't handle it all? ..... 1kg is like 2lbs, right? Then 3kg of extract? Brewing an imperial? Just like everyone else has said, what's your recipe?

Brewing a True Brew Extract Pale Ale this weekend..... Will only be my second batch.... But I'm not sure if hopped light lme and one ounce of cascade hops are enough hop flavor. Any suggestions? Should I visit Mr. Homebrewing Supply Store? Lol

They are.... Good thing is that I just took the sg and things seem right on track, so I'm calm and I'm gonna bottle it soon. Also I think it tastes great selfie flat beer, so I'm happy! Lol
