I've been looking into this myself - have you considered rigid plastic pipes with push-fit caps/bungs bought separately? Looking at eBay I can get 30mm clear acrylic tubes with an inner diameter of 28mm (or 28mm with inner of 26mm). These can be cut to length by hand and the bottom end sealed...
