    Ideas for over carbonated bottles

I have 2 casses of incredibly delicious, hoppy pale ale in bottles. The bottles are over carbonated. The problem for me is that when I open a bottle, bubbles form at the bottom of the beer and big chunks of the yeast on the bottom get distributed though the beer, making it taste yeasty...

This is my first mead, i brew alot of beer, so compared to beer the mead tastes really hot. i dont think the batch was infected. no vinegar, taste, 100% pasteurized juice with no additives or preservatives. i think a hot ferment, dry, green mead, and...

    Infected? (picture)

ya it was like white flakes of snow. I think it was the beginning of an infection but I bottled it, so we will see how it comes out. it tasted fine when I tried it so I have my fingers crossed. My only concern is that, because I added dextros for bottle carbonation, the infection will eat that...

i did one of those last year, came out a little to "musty" for my taste. I think mixing citra with other hopps works out better.

ya this puppy will be good if the infection doesn't stick. lots of bittering hops, lots of late cascade and lots of Amarillo in the Dry hopper. mmmm

    Infected? (picture)

Thanks for the feedback. I did sanitize everything. im really good about it and have never had a bad batch... i did, for the first time, not use a secondary for dryhopping. i know this doesn't make a difference.. this infection happened over the last 48 hours. and the wort was already finished...
