I have been mostly making pale ales. Trying to get a handle on the different hops and ingredients. But even a bigger IPA I did with citra, Amarillo, cascade, centennial and magnum didn't really have a forward hop presence. It was just kinda plain.

I think you would be better off pulling flavors typical of sausages. Like fennel and sage from those respective spices, rather than actually trying to infuse a beer with cooked meat. Any kind of fat is going to give you hella trouble.

Hey guys , this is my first post here. I wanted to get some opinions on an all grain recipe I created. I just brewed a big IPA so I wanted to do something smaller, and I have always enjoyed bitters but I have never brewed one. I also really wanted to brew a black pale ale. So I smashed the two...
