    I just received an hefe extract kit from thebeveragepeople.com. It came with a wyeast 3068. The only componets in the recipe were a DME and an aromatic and bittering hops package.     A friend of mine suggested that after I carbonate the batch, I should throw it in the fridge and lager it for a couple of weeks. He said it would clear it up more and also crisp it up. Anyone hear of this technique with a cream ale?

    YA I hope it's good. I've never had a cream ale before. It was my second brew, extract with grains. Lots and lots of corn, 1 lb to be exact. I've read a lot of posts on here, never have I seen a recipe with corn. Is this normal for a cream ale?
