Go ahead and bottle it - they should be fine. The 2nd ferment is where you get to play around with flavors :). (be careful of bottle bombs though!!)- dugsphone

Is my first ever scoby okay?
You should be fine.. Mine will be all over the place sometimes. A new scoby will form on top if the current one is floating around. :)- dugsphone

Can I get a SCOOBY?
