I totally spaced on that barb adapter, that'll do just fine. Still curious though, anyone know if the standard rubbermade cooler spouts without any modifications can stand the heat of boiling sparge water? Or is that ball valve upgrade necessary for an HLT too?

I have one pin lock keg right now and am looking to get at least one more. I would preferably like to be able to keep different beers at different PSI but the dual regulators I have found say they are ball valve? are there regulators specifically for pin lock or am I just being overly cautious?
