Nice build man! I'm hoping to build a fermenter myself, it wouldn't be climate controlled, yet, because I'm just in an apartment. Whenever I manage to move someplace with a garage I'll definitely add some sort of climate control. For now, I'll probably just make Ales and ferment at the apartment...

Yeah...I've had cedar fever before and it's no fun. I'll just be in my kitchen when bottling. Got a new moderate quality air filter on top of that. I always sanitize, then bottle immediately. Thanks for the advice. Gonna bottle tomorrow! Cheers

Again I appreciate everyone's advice so far. I had a feeling it could be risky getting them off craigslist. Are there adapters so I could use a ball lock and pin lock on the same system?

The reason I said ball locks is because I responded to an ad on craigslist for 3 that were missing bits and pieces so they were selling them for $15 a piece. Only problem is I emailed the seller and he hasnt responded yet. So I figure it would be worth it to get those if I can. Any other styles...

Howdy, I'm trying to partially break away from bottling and start kegging. Where are good places to look for kegs and what tyoe is best/overall cheapest? Ive done google shopping searches, CL, and of course homebrew stores...but are there any places I'm not thinking of? Also I guess 5 gallon...

Ok so I found some on CL near me...seller has 3 amd is letting em go for 15 because " They all have lids but some are missing the ball lock parts, but these are all replaceable parts. But I'll let them go cheap because of that. " should I buy? Thanks

I know what you mean, when I did my first brew, which wasn't that long ago, the main video I watched to learn, I probably re-watched 3-4 times during the brew to make sure I did all the steps right. I still feel nervous sometimes. But any ways, Congrats! :mug:
