I use this bottle tag for meads mostly. You don't see the perforated hole in the empty space on top. I punch it out to hang around the bottle's neck. I use a gold paint pen to fill in the information on the bottom.

I heard a long time ago that hops need to be boiled in order for them to be lightstruck; the problem is, I can't remember where I heard this. Is this true? I've dry-hopped a mead and would like to keep it in clear wine bottles. Will this be a problem?
