I have a 2000mL flask and when I tried making a 2L starter last time with the flask the liquid ended up overflowing out of the top of my flask. How do you prevent this from happening in making such a large starter?
I cant ever seem to figure out those yeast calculators so I just use a pint of water with 1/2 cup of DME as stated in the "How to Brew" book.
The recipe says:

Just decided to brew on Saturday. Brewing this Saturday so we won't pitch the yeast until late Saturday afternoon/evening. Using White Labs 001 yeast on a stirplate. Just boiled a pint of water with 1/2 cup of DME. Would you recommend adding any more DME between now and then? Any other...

Just got into kegging and currently have a 5# tank with one ball lock keg with one regulator and a picnic tap. I would like to add another keg to the fridge. Do I need a dual regulator or is there another option?
We kegged it today. I forgot to take a reading before putting it into the keg. It was in the keg for only about an hour before I decided to go pour some in a glass through the keg faucet for testing. Would that affect the reading?
Yah im not sure what is going on either. I took 2 readings today and I got 9 brix both samples. It has been fermenting for at least 2 months. It is the two hearted clone recipe

We brewed this about 3 weeks ago. Krausen has formed on top but there has been no...
On your stand, the piece of plywood that the carboy is inverted and resting on, I would recommend replacing your current piece with another piece and cut the opening against the grain of the wood. It wouldn't hurt to double it up either.
