Have two for sale. They came from a used keggerator I purchased and I have no plans for them.
I'll take $25.00 for them or trade for swing top or bomber bottles.
Local pickup preferred. I'm in Chicago suburbs.

Wrt efficiency: I have a bb-15 and see between 78 and 83%. I know that stirring periodically helps a lot. You'll find some pockets on the COFI develop along the bottom edge. Normally I plan for 80 and usually get around that.
A while back I asked about problems using rye in the grain bill. The brew boss manual says don't do it. One of you said he used 40% in his grist with a little build up on the electric heating element.
Well, I did a batch with 17% rye. Major PITA; I spent countless hours scrubbing that stuff...
Hi,
I have 4 cases available for pickup. They have been de-labeled and are clean but maybe a bit dusty. First come first serve. I'm near orchard and Randall rd intersection in Batavia Illinois.

I pondered going with the 20 like you are but am glad I chose the 15. The pot is smaller lighter and easier to clean. The option to do a 10 gallon batch is really nice because I can do a split batch. One...
Do you figure the extra stirring will help your efficiency numbers or to prevent a stuck sparge?
The BB manual advises against any rye due to it burning on the heating element. Something about the rye he says although, he does not say anything about wheat. This is why I asked originally.
Hi,
Sorry don't keep up with this.
I've done about 6 beers so far. Each one brings me closer to the numbers. I learn with each batch.
Any system has plusses and minuses. This one has a big one in automation and control. It's compact and relatively simple in operation. It's also very flexible as...
