Im not sure if we are on the same page but I have a local guy selling 15 gallon containers that are food grade. HDPE I would think. I thought about the possibility of heating the base up with hot water maybe and try to make it conical but I doubt that it would work out that way.

The shell is egg shaped. It can all be disassembled. You can take tou the sanke keg part and use it like that. What I like is that you can sanitize it fairly easily. And all the liquid can be poured out of it.

How did it turn out? I have been trying to make some sort of ginger drink with alcohol. I have let the sugars ferment out and it is drinkable but not enjoyable entirely, although it isnt terribly bad.
